Job Description:

We are looking for a Production Coordinator to oversee all aspects of production, including production planning/scheduling, raw material sourcing, project management, managing external contract manufacturers, QA/QC, and inventory management.

The Coordinator will work to continuously improve global supply chain and margin efficiency, and work cross-functionally with Product Development, Marketing, Growth, and International Operations teams to achieve global growth ambitions.

This role reports to the Director of Production.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed production plan based on forecasted global demand to produce finished goods inventory on time and at cost targets. Update production tracker weekly to communicate batching dates, filling dates, etc.

• Lead weekly production meetings with internal global teams and external contract manufacturers and prioritize production runs based on global demand. Track deliveries of raw materials and packaging components. Work with the Logistics Coordinator to ensure components are delivered on time for production.

• Provide daily real-time production updates with global Operations team regarding high-priority POs and ensure relevant parties are aware of delays

• Own relationship with external contract manufacturers to meet aggressive launch and reorder production timelines, including communication of changes to POs, BOMs, and Fill and Assembly instructions, adherence to SOPs, and mitigation of risks & opportunities to timelines

• Implement QA/QC standards and monitor ongoing performance to standards at contract manufacturers. Escalate QC issues to CM Quality Teams and collaborate to develop corrective actions.

• Source and order raw materials as needed.

• Own and manage all new product development timelines at contract manufacturers. Tech transfer new formulas and track project milestones to ensure deadlines are met and launches are successful.

• Accountable for on-time, in full, and at cost delivery of finished goods

• Accountable for data accuracy in internal systems

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree

• 1 year experience preferred

• Familiar with Manufacturing and Supply Chain management field concepts, practices, and procedures, including inventory management, forecasting principles & lean principles

• Understanding of factory production and product supply environment

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to influence, push, and drive results

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills utilizing advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel to demonstrate skill in data analysis, inconsistencies /anomalies in routine data

• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

• Works in compliance with established procedures and/or protocols

• Flexibility and willingness to take on additional responsibilities when needed
